蔵王でスキーをしながら、あらためて感じました。 人生も信仰も、雪の上を進むことに少し似ています。 初めて斜面に立つとき、私たちは怖くて転んでしまいます。 でも、一歩踏み出し、何度も挑戦するうちに、 恐れの向こうに、成長の喜びがあることに気づきます。 信仰生活も同じです。 変わることを恐れたり、失敗を心配したり、 人の目を気にしたりすることがあります。 しかし、スキーが勇気と練習を必要とするように、 信じて前へ進む心 が私たちを強くしてくれます。 雪の上での転倒は、人生の挫折のようなもの。 失敗ではなく、バランスを学び、 再び立ち上がるチャンスです。 主は、どれだけ上手く滑れるかではなく、 恐れてもなお、前に進もうとするその心に寄り添ってくださいます。 今回の蔵王でのスキーが、私たちにそっと思い出させてくれますように。 「信仰の道は、完璧を求めるものではなく、諦めずに歩み続けること」 While skiing in Zao, I was reminded of something important: Life and faith are a little like moving forward on snow. When we stand at the top of a slope for the first time, we feel scared. We fall, hesitate, and doubt our ability. But once we take a step and keep trying, we discover that Beyond fear, there is the joy of growing. Our faith journey is the same. We fear change, fear failure, and worry about how others see us. But just as skiing requires courage and practice, faith invites us to move forward with trust. Each fall on the snow is like a setback in life— not a failure, but a chance to learn balance and rise again. God does not look at how perfectly we “ski,” but at the heart that chooses to move forward even when afraid. May this trip to Zao remind us: “The journey of faith isn’t about perfection, but about not giving up.”
